Cro Care

We are looking for experienced Food Service Assistants to join our growing team at our aged care home in Geelong. We currently have vacancies for permanent day, afternoon and night shifts.

What you would do

• Assisting in the food handling and delivery service to our consumers
• Maintain high standard of service excellence to our consumers in the delivery of daily meals / morning & afternoon teas / supper
• Primarily a food service role including collecting meals from main kitchen to serve to residents in dining areas
• Familiar with Dietary requirements and modified diets
• Maintain stock ordering for Dry Foods, Crockery, Cutlery, Cleaning and Consumables as required within the designated Pantry Areas
• Maintain Food Safety Standards while delivering food services to the Consumers
• Ability to handle and use basic cleaning chemicals safely
• Maintain basic documentation for compliance and records

What you need for the role

• Aged Care experience
• Proven communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with all levels of the organisation
• Knowledge of contemporary care practices
• A current police check or the ability to obtain
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Evidence that you have had the Covid19 Vaccinations
• Evidence that you have had or willing to obtain the 2021/2022 Flu Vaccination
